Energy savings and performance

Any statements about energy savings, comfort improvement or payback are general and depend entirely on your building, your climate, your existing conditions, your fuel costs and how you use the property. We do not guarantee any specific saving, and we deliberately avoid quoting savings percentages without an on-site assessment. R-values quoted are the rated values of the materials specified; installed performance depends on correct installation and on the condition of the rest of the building envelope.

Those programs are administered by third parties, and their availability, terms, funding and eligibility criteria change without notice. We do not control them, we cannot guarantee that you will qualify, and we are not responsible for a program's decision on your application.

Our guides are written to help homeowners recognize symptoms and understand causes. They are not instructions for performing insulation work, and they are not a substitute for an assessment of your specific property.
