Information on this site is general
The content here describes insulation measures in general terms. It is not a specification for your property, and nothing on this site should be relied on as a recommendation for a specific building. Every property is different, and the only advice we stand behind is what appears in a written estimate or report we have prepared for you after an on-site assessment.
No quotes without an assessment
Any prices, offers or figures shown on this site are indicative and subject to an on-site assessment. A binding price exists only in a written estimate signed by us. Offers and specials are subject to the terms stated with them, may be withdrawn or changed at any time, and cannot be combined unless we say so.
Third-party programs
We reference state and utility energy efficiency programs, such as those run by NYSERDA, NV Energy, APS and SRP. Those programs are operated by third parties. Their terms, funding and eligibility rules change, and we do not control them or guarantee that you will qualify for any of them.
Safety
Our guides describe symptoms and explain causes. They are not instructions to perform work yourself. Attic and insulation work can involve unguarded framing, electrical hazards including older knob-and-tube wiring, combustion appliance and flue clearances, and fire-rated assemblies. Do not attempt this work based on anything you read here. Engage a qualified contractor.
